COMMON SADDLE QUESTIONS

Do I have to use Grit's Workhorse Saddle?

Not at all! Although we do consider our Workhorse to be the best bang-for-your-buck saddle on the market, there are plenty of options out there. The most important factor is YOU. Find out what keeps to the most comfortable and the safest, and use that.

What are all the loops for?

The LINEMAN Loops connect your saddle to your Lineman rope, which keeps you attached to the tree for safety while climbing.

The Bridge Loops have a bridge rope permanently attached, and your bridge will attach via to your Tree Tether via a carabiner.

The rest are MOLLE loops, for attaching just about anything that's MOLLE compatible, from climbing sticks to water bottle pockets.

What about gear storage?

One Word: BUILT-IN POCKETS.

Okay, so that's two. But these things are massive, built onto the saddle, and easy to open and close. They can hold ropes, range finders, releases, and snacks. Who needs anything else?
